SideDog Terms of Service
These terms apply when you use the SideDog browser extension and the website at sidedog.7m7s.tech (together, "SideDog"). By installing the extension or signing in, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use SideDog.
The service
- SideDog is an AI assistant in your browser's side panel. It can answer questions about the page you are reading, summarize it, translate it, and look at screenshots you attach.
- SideDog's answers are generated by Agnes AI's large language models (agnes-2.5-flash and agnes-3.0-flash). SideDog is not made or endorsed by Agnes AI.
- SideDog is in beta. Features, limits and availability may change, and the service may be interrupted or discontinued. We will try to give notice of significant changes on this website.
- New accounts include a free trial with daily usage limits.
Paid plans and payment
- Prices are shown on the website before you pay. Payments are processed by our reseller and Merchant of Record, Waffo Pancake, which is the seller on your receipt and handles sales tax and VAT.
- Monthly, quarterly and yearly subscriptions paid by card renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your SideDog account page; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
- Fixed-period plans (for example, paid with WeChat Pay) are one-time payments and do not renew.
- If a renewal payment fails, access continues for a short grace period; if payment is not completed, the subscription ends.
- Refunds. If you are not satisfied, email us within 14 days of the payment and we will refund it in full, no questions asked; your paid access ends when the refund is made. After 14 days, payments are not refunded for a change of mind. If a fault makes the core features unusable and is not fixed within 7 days of your report, we will extend your paid period by the number of days affected. This does not limit any rights you have under consumer law.
Your account
- You sign in with Google or WeChat. Keep access to that account secure; activity under your SideDog account is your responsibility.
- You must be old enough to use your sign-in provider's services in your country, and at least 13 years old.
- One person may use one account. Do not share, sell or transfer your account.
Acceptable use
You agree to follow the Acceptable Use Policy, which lists prohibited content and how to report misuse. In addition, you agree not to:
- use SideDog to break the law, infringe others' rights, or create content that is harmful, deceptive or abusive;
- send content you do not have the right to share, including other people's personal or confidential information;
- get around usage limits, create accounts to multiply the free trial, or access the service by automated means other than the extension;
- attempt to extract credentials, keys or other non-public information from the service, probe or disrupt its infrastructure, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows;
- resell the service or use it to build a competing product.
We may limit, suspend or close accounts that break these rules or put the service or other users at risk.
Content and AI output
- You keep the rights to what you send (questions, pages, images). You give us the permission needed to process it to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.
- Answers, summaries, translations and reports are generated by AI. They can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Check anything important against the original source, and do not rely on SideDog for medical, legal, financial or other professional advice.
- You are responsible for how you use the output, including respecting the copyright and terms of the websites you read with SideDog.
Privacy
How we handle your data is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.
Disclaimers and liability
- SideDog is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
- To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by relying on AI output. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under the law of your country.
Ending your use
You can stop using SideDog at any time by removing the extension. To delete your account data, follow the steps in the Privacy Policy.
Changes
We may update these terms. We will change the effective date above and, for significant changes, give notice on this website before they take effect. Continuing to use SideDog after that means you accept the updated terms.
